Godzilla against MechaGodzilla

When a second Godzilla attacks 45 years after the original, Lt. Akane Yoshiro is used as a scapegoat for the military's catastrophic defeat. Years later the military finishes their latest weapon for Japan's defense, the bio-machine “Kiryu” built over the bones of the original Godzilla. After Kiryu becomes sentient and rampages through Tokyo it is considered a failed project and waste of money/resources. But when Godzilla returns, Akane takes the MechaGodzilla pilot seat to save her comrades and Kiryu's reputation.
