MemberNoobDec-12-2012 6:35 PMMy brain exploded. Words cannot explain how much I loved this. Also, I love GLaDOS from Portal! In case you didn't see it, here it is.

Admin2KDec-12-2012 7:49 PMYes it looks awesome. Chris just posted in the newsfeed. I am super happy they used the Ellen McLain's voice and kept it sounding like GLaDOS. She voices the "Jaeger Gipsy Danger". Del Toro is a fan of Portal and even asked VALVe's permission to use Ellen McLain's distinctive voice in the film, when he didn't even need to.

MemberNoobDec-12-2012 7:58 PMI love how the first monster from the trailer looks like a more bad ass version of Ebirah! I'm so happy that I chose him for my profile pic.

MemberNoobDec-12-2012 11:17 PMYes the Trailer looked great Showed a bit of everything. I hope there are still more excitement to come that is not displayed in the preview.
I can't get over the large scale of the creatures and the robots.
Get the movie on the screens now.

AdminAtmanDec-13-2012 12:43 AMI agree, great trailer! Really enjoy watching it! This looks like it's gonna be a non-stop action film, which is great for the Summer!

AdminAtmanDec-13-2012 9:36 PMEvery time I sign on here, I watch the trailer and I plan to continue to do so until the next one is released! I also plan to go see The Hobbit so I can see the trailer on the big screen with surround sound! Haha

MemberNoobDec-16-2012 7:02 AMI also wanted to see the Hobbit so I can see the trailer on the big screen, but unfortunately they didn't show it in my country :-/
I have seen the trailer on you tube though more than 20 times already and watching it again. It's really astonishing!
This is going to be quite an experience to watch on the big screen :D

MemberNoobDec-16-2012 9:04 AMI just saw the Hobbit. Me and my friend did enjoy it, but maybe we are a little bit too nerdy about our nitpicks. Here are my/and his complaints.
1. The troll scene is different. (It's still ok though)
2. The Wargs look way different. (Perhaps the ones in the Two Towers were war-bred instead of being wild)
3. The "Pale Orc" or Azog is in the book, but he dies in the battle that was a flashback, however in the movie he lived from the battle, and just serves as filler. (Plus his CGI is not that good)
4. The Goblin King death was ruined because he was boasting about how they couldn't kill him, and when they dealt the final blow, he said "That will do it" and then he died. (It was too damn cheesy)
5. The scene were Bilbo picks up the ring is different from the scene in The Fellowship. (Yeah, this is really nitpicking, but still)
Overall the film is worth watching, and it does have some epic parts. However, there is WAY too many "kiddie" jokes and one liners that ruin perfectly serious parts. Anyway, sorry for my rant. You guys should still watch it for sure.

MemberNoobDec-16-2012 11:47 AMI agree with you about the Goblin King.
For me in general, The Hobbit had some really nice parts, but it really lacked the adventure, at least that's how I felt when I left the theater.
I really liked Martin Freeman, I think he was perfect for the role and I also liked Radagast...

MemberNoobDec-16-2012 11:52 AMYeah Martin Freeman was great. Although I have to disagree with you on Radagast. I felt that they made him a damned moron, with his crazy eyes, bird poop on his hair, and the stupid sled of rabbits. He served almost no purpose at all, except to pander to the children. He was almost as bad as Jar Jar.

AdminAtmanDec-16-2012 4:57 PMHi there Gipsy_Danger (Great name by the way) and AgentMothMan, I also just went and saw The Hobbit last night. It was okay, but I feel the same way about it as you guys do. One thing that I was not impressed with - was they didn't even show Pacific Rim's trailer int he previews to it and I was looking forward to that! Haha

MemberNoobDec-16-2012 7:14 PMWait really? We had the Pacific Rim trailer, and it was the only one people actually got excited for. Where do you live? I live in Kansas.

AdminAtmanDec-16-2012 7:32 PMYeah, I was pretty pissed cause I went and saw it with a friend and was telling him to get excited for it, cause he has yet to see it. And I was pretty disappointed that they showed 3 Paramount movies trailers, and only 1 Warner Bros. trailer - Man Of Steal, which I could have done without.
Perhaps it's cause I saw the 2D version of The Hobbit, but still You'd think Warner Bros. would have attached Pacific Rim to every preview for it, since it's such a popular film right now.
