Godzilla x Symphogear chapter 2: Godzilla rises

WHEE chapter 2. I know a lot of you really enjoyed chapter one, and trust me, chapter 3 is gonna have an anime girl fight a giant monster. 

Sargon screeched as he stood tall amongst the flaming ruins of the city he had just destroyed. Sudden, loud footsteps echoed as a massive entity approached the Scorpion titan. Sargon turned to see something that struck fear into the titans heart. Meanwhile, at the S.O.N.G. headquarters, everyone looked in awe and fear at the shadowy figure. The titanic beast stepped forward into the flames, illuminating his figure. A massive clawed foot. Legs thicker than a blue whale. Broad shoulders set atop a massive bulky body. An enormous whip-like tail that swung behind him like a snake. A gilled neck. A small, boxy head that resembled a dinosaur, with small, needle-sharp teeth bared in a snarl. Eyes that burned with an ancient rage. But the most distinguishing feature was the massive dorsal plates on the creature back that started at his neck and ran down his tail. Sargon cowered in fear of this larger titan, unsure what to do. Slowly, the massive reptile reared up and roared. The sound was enough to give a lesser being a heart attack. Everyone aboard the S.O.N.G. headquarters knew one thing, and one thing only. 

Godzilla.

Sargon hissed back at the larger titan, challenging him to a duel. Godzilla snorted, and stomped forward to fight. Sargon slammed his claws at Godzilla’s thick legs, but Godzilla paid no heed. Godzilla slammed his foot onto Sargon’s back, prompting a pained squeal from the scorpion. Godzilla, then grabbed Sargon’s tail at ripped it clean off, greenish blood spilling out of the wound. Swinging the tail around, Godzilla beat Sargon’s head with it, before losing interest and simply crushed the smaller titan’s head. Godzilla roared victoriously, flames encircling the enormous Leviathan as he roared into the night sky. 

“Why did we have to do this again?” asked Hibiki on the comm link back to the S.O.N.G. headquarters. “Due to predictions after Sargon’s emergence, we believe the Titans hibernating in the outposts are bound to awaken.” “I don’t like the sound of that…” murmured Hibiki under her breath. Looking up, she saw her transport arrive at her destination. Jebel-barkal, Sudan. Stepping down from the helicopter, Hibiki saw several people rush up to her, and greet her. After being welcomed into the facility, Hibiki was shown to a window showing the hibernating titan. “This, Hibiki, is Mokele-mbembe.” 

Across the globe, Kirika gazed at a glass wall showing a massive spider-like leg in Arizona. Likewise, in Rio, Tsubasa studied the diagram detailing the titan “Behemoth”. All the way in Munich, Maria looked upon the mountain she knew was actually a sleeping titan. Over in Wyoming, Shirabe looked at the massive devils tower mountain that held within it the sleeping Abbadon. And in Mexico, Chris surveyed the volcano and the village below it…

During his sleep inside Isla de mara, a titan’s thoughts bubbled for the first time in ages. How long had it been? He did not know. But whenever he would break free...the world would tremble before him.

Deep within the cold reaches of antarctica, a massive titan stirred. When would they break out of this icy prison they had been trapped in for so long? They didn’t know. But eventually, they would...and the world will soon know terror once more.

Within the forest-covered regions of the Yunnan rainforest, a caterpillar-like Titan treaded slowly towards a waterfall. She knew she would have to cocoon soon, for she felt the consciousness of a Titan she helped defeat a millenia ago. She had felt the titan stir, then fall back into his deep slumber. If the titan were to break out of his icy prison, the consequences would be dire.

Godzilla swam off the coast of India, contemplating when the next Titan would rise. Whatever the case, he knew he had to do something about it when the inevitable happened. But if the devil woke...All hell would break loose.
