I have been trying to find a movie I have seen years ago.
All I remember about the movie is that there was a "Security officer" on board that the rest of the crew did not want on board and that security officer had to stay awake for 6 months while the others were in cryo-sleep.
I remember that while being the only guy awake on the ship he was dancing to classical music at some point.
I hope that's enough for someone to figure out which movie I am talking about.

Perhaps you talk about Passengers. It's a 2016 american movie with Chris Patt as Jim Preston a mechanical engineer, your "securiry officer". He's alone in sleeper ship.
Hoping that it's the movie you were looking for.

Unfortunately thats not the movie. The one i am looking for is probably 10 years old or even older.

Hum ok, don't see... Is the whole movie in space ? It doesn't match your descriptions but maybe Pandorum (2009 movie)
