Newton... bad or not?

One tough question I have is, In the new Pac Rim, is Newt, my favorite character, going to be bad or not?

I have been reading theory's that this certain "Kaiju groupie" in the new Pac Rim will be more or less on the side of the new bigger and badder Kaijus. Many people I talk to believe that the new movie will have Newt as the HERO of it all, some say he's going to be the VILLAIN. He and Hermann did drift with a newborn Kaiju, and could there be possible side effects of it? Or even more?

Can someone give me there insight?

I think newton is remotely controlling Obsidion Fury. In the first trailer, we got a shot of newt turning around, and maybe looking at another person that walked in. Behind him was a holographical t.v/computer with a jaeger on it. Maybe Obsidion?

Newt isn't just controlling Obsidian Fury, he.. made it.

He made Jaegers that are really mecha Kaijus. Jaegers with Kaiju brains. Jaegers that have cloned body parts of Kaijus.

Your idea was pretty much correct.
