10. Bruce Makes the Climb; The Dark Knight Rises

After failing to escape the prison a few times, Bruce Wayne, determined to return to Gotham and stop Bane, climbs out of the pit, this time without a rope around his waist. When he reaches the platform where most others failed to escape, he makes a leap of faith--and succeeds.

9. Bank Heist; The Dark Knight

An ominous and worthy beginning to the greatest superhero film ever, The Dark Knight begins with a group of robbers in clown masks robbing a bank. They ponder over who the Joker is as they shoot each-other, and the last one standing pulls off his mask before one of the bank's employees--revealing himself as the Joker.

8. Rachel Finds Out; Batman Begins

In the moments before Batman heads off to face Ra's Al Ghul in one final battle, he indirectly reveals his secret identity by reiterating one of Rachel Dawes' quotes. "It's not who I am underneath, but what I do, that defines me."

7. Joker Card; Batman Begins

The ending of the first movie, this scene perfectly foreshadows the late Heath Ledger's legendary performance as the Joker in The Dark Knight. You even hear him laughing in the background before the credits roll.

6. Train Fight; Batman Begins

Arguably one of the better fist fights in the series, the final battle between Batman and Ra's Al Ghul is nothing short of intense. They fight onboard a train moving across a damaged track, which builds up the anticipation for the outcome. Batman overpowers his former mentor, and, although he chooses not to kill him, he doesn't save him, either.

5. Trilogy Ending; The Dark Knight Rises

(Couldn't find a video fitting both the bomb's detonation and the ending)

This is probably the greatest sacrifice Batman has made in the series. He flies a bomb out of Gotham as it safely detonates over the open ocean. We also get Alfred's emotional goodbye to Bruce Wayne, although it is debatable whether he and Selina Kyle are actually in Florence during the sequence. And of course, we see Blake discover the Batcave.

4. Batpod Chase; The Dark Knight

Let's face it, this is probably the best action sequence (excluding the Number 3 spot on this list) in the whole DK Trilogy. When his Batmobile suffers severe damage from an RPG, Batman refuses to give up, and ejects the Batpod, before speeding down the streets of Gotham City after the Joker. Oh, and that truck flip. That was all practical effects.

3. Bane Breaks the Bat; The Dark Knight Rises

This is one of the most eerie scenes in this gritty and dark trilogy. For a while, we thought that there was no-one in this universe who could match Batman in physical strength--but boy, we were proven wrong with Bane and this fight. He effortlessly tanks every punch that Batman throws, and dishes the punishment back out. The lack of music adds to the eerie tone, and makes each strike feel all the more real.

2. Joker's Interrogation; The Dark Knight

Surprised to see that this isn't my favourite Dark Knight Trilogy scene? Don't get me wrong; by all means, it is an amazing scene, with the late Heath Ledger's performance as the Joker. Despite Batman beating the crap out of him, he keeps his cool, even laughing; despite everything Batman throws at the Joker, his arch-nemesis is the one in control.

1. The Hero Gotham Deserves; The Dark Knight

Where do I begin with this scene?! It is nothing short of epic, beautiful, and magnificent. This is one of the deepest moments in the trilogy, with Batman taking the weight of Harvey Dent's fall from grace, and having himself framed for Two-Face's rampage. Jim Gordon sends the Gotham police force after Batman, who flees into the night. Gordon's son expresses his confusion, to which Gordon himself replies with a beautiful monologue. This shows that The Dark Knight is not the superhero movie we deserve, but the one we need.

My favorite is "why so serious" from the Dark Knight.

Godzilla... Truly a God incarnate.
