How big is your... Movie Collection?

With 4K becoming the next big media trend DVD and Blu-Ray players can be picked quite inexpensively, with movies on both formats being even cheaper, DVD's can now be purchased in bargain stores for a Pound/Dollar/Euro or equivalent. As such, there is no excuse for movie fans out there to not have something resembling a sizable home movie collection.
Mine? Well, mine stands at a respectful 239 movies, although some I have on both DVD and Blu-Ray. I also have some none-movie DVD's but I didn't count those, as well as some movie extras such as figures and books. Though I suspect I may be updating soon...
So I ask the question How big is yours?
I probably have around 500 titles in various formats, but some of these are duplicated. I have Alien through to Alien Resurrection, and even Bladerunner on VHS format. So for movies like these I prefer to keep for posterity. Also the value of these may not be that much at present, but I have seen their value slowly creeping up, just as vinyl has. There are some movies in the past which I have had difficulty finding and upgraded format. The most difficult one I had trouble finding a good upgraded version was The Keep (1983), directed by Michael Mann. Eventually many movies get upgraded eventually, but there are still some out there that can be hard to find. Movies like Forbidden Planet took their time in getting an upgrade to DVD, but the conversion to Blu Ray was much quicker.
