What was the first mentioning about Power Rangers

I have seen Power Rangers for 20 years ago for the first time and actually, it was really great for that period. But I never met this series after that, except some video games. Where did it start? Maybe I just don't know about this franchise?

The first season of Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers began in 1993. It was based on the Japanese series Super Sentai Zyuranger which is part of the Super Sentai franchise.

Saban imported the footage of the fight scenes and special effects from Zyuranger and write their own story with American actors. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers lasted three seasons. After that a new iteration was created every year starting with Power Rangers Zeo--Which was basically season 4.
