The top menu bar for Scified has been updated, offering improved navigation and interaction. The profile block in the sidebar has been removed and moved to the top right of the page. I will be adding various new sections to the sidebar shortly.

This update will transfer to the rest of our hosted communities over the next few weeks.

I mean compared to how the site was when I joined two years ago--there is no comparison, these updates are just amazing.

Thanks! Yes, we have evolved quite a bit. Trial and error is the name of the game lol I think this latest update will stick for a while though, it seems to be more useful.

Thank you Nebula! I have a variation nearly ready for launch on our hosted community sites - Alien-Covenant.com will be the first to receive it. Hoping to launch it tonight.

The only other thing we could need would be a live chat that updates automatically. But I don't know if that is too much.

Auto-updating chat is something I want to implement, however it requires polling the database continuously and that can lead to resource issues. I will continue to look into it though, as it is a feature I've wanted since the beginning.
