I gotta admit, I never cared much for Raichu before. But in Sun and Moon, it got an awesome Alolan forme that sparked (get it?) my love for the electric mouse.

9. Luxray

IT'S AN ELECTRIC LION! HOW COULD YOU NOT LOVE IT?!?!

8. Ampharos

Gen. 2 was pretty mediocre for me, but Ampharos was amazing. I love its design, and its Mega Evolution made it HALF DRAGON! It also has luscious hair.

7. Gallade

I'm a Gen. 3 and 4 fan, and I love Gallade. Its design was really cool and it was really useful during the Legendary Hunt in ORAS. I taught mine False Swipe and Thunder Wave, and caught all the legendaries.

6. Haxorus

I gotta admit, I hate Gen. 5. Besides the legendaries and pseudo legendaries, there weren't many Pokemon I liked. Until I saw Haxorus. JUST LOOK AT ITS FACE!!!

5. Mudkip

This just goes to show how much I love Hoenn. I chose Mudkip at the start of the game and destroyed my way through everything when I reluctantly evolved it.

4. Sceptile

Out of the final evolutions for the Hoenn starters, Sceptile was my favourite. I was always skeptical of Blaziken, and Swampert was pretty cool, but not as good as Sceptile. Plus, this thing mega evolves into the first grass dragon!

3. Tyrantrum

Tyrannosaurus rex is my all-time favourite dinosaur. You can only imagine how hyped I was when I got this thing. I used it on my team in Y, smashing everything. I named him Rexy and transferred him to ORAS. Wish I could change his name to Tyrance...

2. Giratina

This just goes to show how much I love Gen. 4. I'm a sucker for a legendary. Not only was it wicked cool, but it was powerful. I used it to take on Cynthia in Platinum. She would've been impossible without Satan the Giratina. This Pokemon also has a lot of sentimental value to me. It is portrayed as a misunderstood creature that was banished. I've always been an outcast, so Giratina speaks to me. #relatable

1. Rayquaza

I'm a sucker for an OP dragon legendary. It was solid in Emerald, but its Mega Evolution in ORAS took it over the top. It was also my first Lv. 100 Pokemon, and with the combination of Earthquake, Outrage, ExtremeSpeed, and Dragon Ascent, Shenron the Rayquaza was UNSTOPPABLE.
