It was ridiculous looking, CG or none. You had, supposedly, this wise Jedi warrior hip-hopping around like, well... Kermit and Christopher Lee waving his saber around so seriously at it--I sincerely hope Lucas intended for the moment to be comical, but I fear that wasn't the intention.

I'll take the lack of choreography from the original film over that any day.
