MemberNoobNov-08-2015 10:11 PMI've noticed lately that many of my pictures(transferred directly) from photobucket no longer appear. Even my Scified site "Collectables Big or Small" has had many pictures transferred back into code. I took pleasure and pride in posting these pictures. I talked to Svanya about these concerns some months ago. I took many of these pictures with this site in mind(pics of the Spinner at the EMP in Seattle and the cast of "Aliens" reuniting in Calgary). Is it possible to correct this dilemma. I was one of the first fans on your "Blade Runner" site when it first started. It would be next to impossible for me to upload all these pictures again in sequence(I don't have the time). I hope to hear from you. Your site is fantastic. Your pal,Dale

MemberLegendNov-09-2015 3:16 PMThats because you are using Bb Code. We no longer use BB Code to display images and links, we now use HTML, which with our new text editor is much easier to use.
If you are unsure how to post images using HTML check out our how to guide which can be found HERE.
As proof here is your image...

MemberNoobNov-10-2015 6:09 PM1) Open Notepad in Windows or whatever text editor you like.
2) Go to the thread you want your postings converted.
3) Edit your posting.
4) Pick 'Source Code' on the Editor.
5) Cut-&-Paste the (bb) code to Notepad (as a backup copy/save it). The 'Source Code' box should be clear of any code.
6) Go to this address: http://www.bbcode-to-html.com/
7) Copy-&-Paste the code from Notepad to the website's converter box. And press 'Convert bbCode to HTML'.
8) Press 'Hightlight Text', and Copy-&-Paste the result from the website to Notepad (as a backup).
9) Also Paste the code into the 'Source Code' box you cleared earlier, and OK it.
10) Check the Editor window, and 'Preview' the page. You should now see the changes.
11) Touch it up in the Editor if necessary. And once done, go back to 'Source Code' then Copy-&-Paste your changes to Notepad. You will need this copy if you want to edit again; plus always use the 'Source Code' window for edits to start or there will be extra work.
12) Update/save your Notepad files, and mark the one that is your current online copy (in-case you want to re-edit in the future, and simply paste to the 'Source Code' window).
It's easy, also quick to convert/upgrade a posting. It took me about 10min. to do a semi-complex one. I will convert all my own postings before long to the new format. They are well-maintained, and were future-proofed for any upgrade, sometime ago. It should be no trouble to do; however, it might take a bit of time.
I am currently prohibited from taking any official role here. Although, if members are having any issues converting; simply let me know within the confines of this thread. I know the new editor well-enough, and might be able to offer some help.
I'll let you know how it goes, Dale + it's motto-**** than ever, Chris.

MemberNoobNov-27-2015 9:27 AMI've made a bit of dent, in the conversion of all my posts to HTML. And it's going quite well, Dale. I may be finished completely by sometime in January.
The website converter actually works good-enough for the majority of my postings. The more you use it, the faster you will become at completing this task. The only problem I found, is that the converted result will not always recongize spaces properly (in the Editor here). Also, the only way to add a line-space (in some cases) is to put this code (using 'Source Code" box) in the place where you want a new one to begin:
<p> </p>
And for some reason, it produces more than simply 1 line; however, it's the best method I found (to do this quickly). I think the issue is a matter of the website converter producing code, very plainly.
All the SMILEY are above; if you want them back.
I have some replies coming soon (just finding the 'words'), Dale.
And you're welcome, Alex.
