MemberNoobNov-11-2014 8:36 AMOverall, what do you think of Star Wars: Rebels...
as opposed to Star Wars: The Clone Wars...
Personally, I prefer Clone Wars so far. Rebels is alright, but it's clear it's got a cheesier, more kid like, aspect to it. Plus the animation is a step down. Clone Wars had better animation and a better, darker, story to it. Episodes like Darkness on Umbara were awesome. Obviously Rebels has just started, but I prefer Clone Wars.
What about all of you?

MemberNoobNov-29-2014 7:08 PMI liked loved Clone Wars. Some episodes, such as those where we saw the second assault on Geonosis, were absolutelt amazing.
Now, I'll be honest. I haven't seen very much of rebels, but from what I've seen, I'm not particularily impressed. I have many issues with the show (A mandalorian explosives expert who's favorite explosive is a paint bomb? REALLY DISNEY?!?), and I agree with you that it seems dumbed down and at times, childish.
Now, I will give them one thing. The Inquisitor is awesome. I really like him as a villain, and would like to see him team up with more Inquisitors, but it has to be when we least expect it. NOBODY EXPECTS THE IMPERIAL INQUISITION!
Overall, I like Clone Wars better

MemberNoobDec-02-2014 3:49 PMDefinatley Clone wars.
Clone wars was Engineered to Fill in the gap between Movies II and III, While Rebels was Engineered on the same Idea, It's more so just a kids show.
A good example being the Fact that so far, Most of the Episodes for rebels has been about "Life Lessons". The most Interesting thing so far is Esera learning how to use the light sabre... And that's about it.
Rebels has a good idea, But I feel it's being Wrongly Executed. It's currently more like most of the Kid shows today, Where they teach about Life lessons, and how to be good and such...
It does seem to be speeding up some, But I still feel like it'll never live up to the Clone wars...
If you're up to date with the episodes, I didn't watch the full Luminara's alive, But I thought it was a novel idea!
Life cannot be contained, it breaks walls, crashes through barriers sometimes painfully, but uh... Life uh, finds a way

Member2KAug-07-2016 5:13 PMI love both, but Clone Wars wins this one. Here's how I would rate them:
Rebels: 7.5/10
Clone Wars: 9.5/10

MemberConversationalistAug-07-2016 6:41 PMClone Wars took a while to hit its stride. Rebels (I've only seen season 1 so far) seem to hit its stride a bit quicker.

MemberInitiateSep-07-2016 8:49 AMNow that I've watched Clone Wars in its completion and just finished season 1 or rebels with having watched some episodes from season 2.
For me Rebels takes it. Only slightly but the small crew bring the missions closer to home and more fun to follow imo.
