MemberMothra LarvaeAug-09-2014 11:25 AMthis 1961 British scifi film is an atempt to capitalizise on the gaiant monster craze from the 60's, especially godzilla and some elemens form kong
the monster has a very interesting design, having big hands and claws, pinty teath red eyes and big flipper like ears, the movie is Fun, the monster ''Ogra'' is looking for its baby ''Gorgo'' that has been taken to a circus, leaving a path of destructon in london

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-09-2014 11:53 AMFrom what I remember, this was an alright Kaiju movie, but nothing super special. I liked it as a kid, bu I tried to watch it in high school and remember not liking it as much.

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-09-2014 5:53 PMI like the movie too, and trying to get a figure of any of the Gorgos was very hard until today. MOnarch released sometime ago a model kit of the Mother GOrgo with base for display featuring her name "Gorgo" and a crushed Big Ben. I bought and I built one and it is pretty cool, but in my opinion they could give her a longer tail. It a nice display alongisde Bandai 8 inches figures. If any is interested theres is a quick link for the model kit:
