A giant list of monsters isn't a sequel idea it's...well, it's a giant list of monsters.

I don't want to overload the sequel with (almost) every single foe Godzilla has ever encountered. I'd like to see some of the more 'realistic' ones, like Rodan, Anguirus, Baragon, and Varan.

In terms of actual story, there's a few ways to go about it. For example, at the end of the movie they set off a very powerful nuke very near to San Fransisco. This could very easily awaken more kaiju.

Personally I hope I never see another Brody again. All of the ones still alive I find to be incredibly dull. I'd like the sequel to focus on Dr. Serizwawa and his...assistant? Partner?

As much as I love Godzilla's old foes... I do kinda rather see new monsters in the sequel.
(Everyone's probably going to hate me for saying this)

I have written a Godzilla Sequel Synopsis as follows:

Due to the proliferation of underground and underwater nuclear tests and weapon creation from countries like Iran, North Korea, and other countries already owning nuclear weapons, the radioactive core of the Earth has cracked and leaked massive amount of inner core radiation to the surface. This and other global changes occurring due to human consumption of fossil fuels have combined in a chain reaction to create a level of disasters and devastations unseen before, with mankind and other living things facing a potential extinction if such a chain reaction is not stopped or slowed down soon. Of course Godzilla and other gigantic radioactive monsters are awakened. Being alpha predators, they are now feeding, hunting and fighting with each other fiercely to establish their territories and the natural order and balance.

Never before has humanity faced such a risk as the storms come! An international agency has been formed to deal with these crises in an ultimate ‘Brain’ versus ‘brawn’ to try to save whatever we have left!

If you like it, please help me spread it to Gareth Edwards' Godzilla Creative Team.  Also I have written many plot ideas as well as the descriptions of the monsters in the sequel.  I must say Monster Island is not a good idea for the sequel, not just yet!  Thank you!

Also, I have written a plot summary for the Godzilla Sequel as follows:

Plot Summary of the Godzilla Sequel

Due to repeated underground and underwater nuclear tests from countries like Iran, North Korea, and other countries already owning nuclear weapons, man-made errors, mankind’s ignorance and arrogance, their feeling of threats from one another and their drive to dominate have resulted in the proliferation of these nuclear testing and weapon creation activities, and as a result, the radioactive core of the Earth has cracked and leaked massive amount of inner core radiation to the surface. Little do we know that we are not in any way the dominant species on Earth, even with Godzilla’s and other monster’s previous appearances, and people never learn that they cannot control really anything about nature. These cracks, earthquakes, radiations, and other global changes from fossil fuel consumptions by humans have combined to create a level of disasters and devastations unseen before to mankind. Of course Godzilla and other radioactive monsters who have been here long before we are awakened to feed on the abundant radiations and nuclear wastes. Being alpha predators, they are now feeding, hunting and fighting with each other fiercely to establish their territories and the order. Certainly, they wouldn’t have cared less about humans who are so insignificant to them, other than perhaps simply food sources to some. Their new territories now overlap with humans’ but the humans and their weapons are defenseless against them. They can only watch the terror unfold, along with the rest of the audience of the movie. The theme continues…

Some of the plots are revolved around the monsters; therefore, the plots will be revealed as the monsters are introduced.

If you like what you see so far, please let me know, so I can provide more of what I write.  Thank you!

Monster ideas for the Godzilla Sequel:

Many viewers have expressed their passion by saying they have paid the money to see giant monsters fight, do mayhem and cause massive destructions; therefore, the importance of having the right monsters and their brilliant fights in the movie to make it a success is an understatement! I do think that even in the first movie, the director has hit the nail right on the head by delivering the gigantic, no-nonsense monsters. Let’s stay away from silly monsters and continue to deliver what the audience wants!

We can certainly explore to develop a little more of Godzilla’s facial expressions and body language in different situations. Doing so will tie the audience better to their beloved monster. But please don’t make Godzilla dance, or do any silly human gesture, for we both understand that HE IS THE BADASS BEAST and not a clown!

The monsters of different kinds do not communicate or form a bond between one another. They do not have a common language that they care to use to address one another. Their instinct drives them to feed, hunt, to fight, and to eliminate any threat to their territories. Basically they let their fights do the talking! However, during the fights, they don’t tag-team in pre-arrangement per se, but their intelligence will allow them to take advantage of a vulnerable situation of their opponent when their opponent is down to the counts either by another’s attack or by themselves. Their ultimate goal is to totally defeat or kill all their opponent(s) using whatever possible in their disposal until all threats are eliminated. That makes the fight more interesting and intense!

In the Sequel, besides Godzilla, one of the monsters would have to be, you guess it right -- King Ghidorah!

What could be better than bringing back another king, if you can get the rights from Toho! Every Godzilla fan knows about this monster, which is even bigger and taller than Godzilla, has three heads, breathes devastating Gravity Beams which stun even Godzilla silly, and fly. The mobility coverage of King Ghidorah is greater than Godzilla since he can fly, not to mention that its gigantic wings can be used as weapons and create hurricane-type wind to topple and destroy almost everything (except Godzilla of course) in its path. With King Ghidorah, you do not need to bring back Rodan because there is nothing Rodan can do that King Ghidorah cannot, and Rodan is no match for King Ghidorah!

The plot about King Ghidorah is that he is an extra-terrestrial monster who has brought destruction to another planet and then arrived to Earth in a magnetic meteorite. King Ghidorah has the urge and gets its rocks off to just demolish anything in his path; therefore, the audience will be so thrilled when King Ghidorah emerges and appears in the sky to destroy a town, a city or two. The records indicate that King Ghidorah and Godzilla have fought before for dominance on Earth, but each has been injured and retreated to their nesting place deep inside the Earth.

Our planet’s magnetic field is believed to be generated deep down in the Earth’s core. Right at the heart of the Earth is a solid inner core, two thirds of the size of the Moon and composed primarily of iron. At a hellish 5,700°C, this iron is as hot as the Sun’s surface, but the crushing pressure caused by gravity prevents it from becoming liquid. Surrounding this is the outer core, a 2,000 km thick layer of iron, nickel, and small quantities of other metals. Lower pressure than the inner core means the metal here is fluid. Differences in temperature, pressure and composition within the outer core cause convection currents in the molten metal as cool, dense matter sinks whilst warm, less dense matter rises. The Coriolis force, resulting from the Earth’s spin, also causes swirling whirlpools. This flow of liquid iron generates electric currents, which in turn produce magnetic fields. Charged metals passing through these fields go on to create electric currents of their own, and so the cycle continues. This self-sustaining loop is known as the geo-dynamo. The spiraling caused by the Coriolis force means that separate magnetic fields created are roughly aligned in the same direction, their combined effect adding up to produce one vast magnetic field engulfing the planet.

King Ghidorah feeds on the magnetic energy from the Earth’s core while he rests there, but the recent nuclear tests and human explorations and exploitations of the planet have awakened King Ghidorah. On top of that, Godzilla’s and MUTO’s recent activities and their fights have stirred him up more. He is restless again. Now well rested, well-nourished, he is ready to rampage and rumble!

King Ghidorah is even bigger, heavier and more powerful than Godzilla. While his three heads, with their worse bites and Gravity Beams (like dealing with three monsters at once), powerful wings and legs can really get Godzilla in trouble, and Godzilla cannot match King Ghidorah’s frontal and aerial attacks, the only weak spots are on King Ghidorah’s backside, since he does not have a tail sweep powerful enough to hurt Godzilla, and the occasional confusion of which head is in charge to coordinate the defense while he himself is in trouble. Such a monster can really rarely be in trouble, I might add! Godzilla will have to explore these to have a chance on the fight, but at what price?

I believe that King Ghidorah deserves a re-match with Godzilla in a modern American version. Besides, the audience would love a total CGI make-over of King Ghidorah, along with all its magnificence and destructive power!

Size and Weight of the bigger and stronger King Ghidorah: 160 meters tall with wingspan of 185 meters and weighing 130,000 tons.

Another monster in the Godzilla Sequel is Leviathan.  This is a new monster idea I have created.

Leviathan can be a mutated hybrid between a giant Squid and monstrous prehistoric species, such as a giant isopod. Why? The elusive giant squid, known to science as Architeuthis dux, is one of the world's largest animals, reaching a length of up to 60 feet. It is the largest known Invertebrates in the world. These creatures are highly aggressive deep sea hunters!

The giant isopod, known scientifically as Bathynomus giganteus, is the largest known member of the isopod family, and also of the largest members of the crustacean family. These animals are very prehistoric in appearance. When threatened, the can roll themselves into a tight ball where they are protected by their strong, armor-plated shells. They have complex mouths that contain many components that work together to pierce, shred, and disembowel live preys – terrifying-looking creatures!

The enormous size of the giant isopod is a result of a phenomenon known as deep sea gigantism. This is the tendency of deep sea crustaceans and other animals to grow to a much larger size than similar species in shallower waters. Other examples of this would be the giant squid. The giant squid grows to a length of up to 60 feet in the deep sea. In comparison, its shallow water cousins only grow to about two feet in length. The reason for these size differences remains a mystery, although some researchers believe it may be an adaptation to help the animal deal with the enormous pressures.

These creatures have their natural genes to grow to enormous size. These genes are susceptible and adaptive to radioactive mutations.

The plot can be that the previous sinking of nuclear submarines and warheads has leaked a great deal of radiation to the ocean floor, while many of these war machines are unrecoverable. Some of these giant isopods, with their tremendous adaptability, survive the pollution but are eventually mutated. Through such mutations, their survival instinct and adaptability increase many folds; as a result, they gradually latch onto some giant squids in a form of a conjunctive symbiosis, since giant squids are also alpha predators in the deep sea, and this could be a naturally good way to avoid being consumed. While fixing of their bodily substances and fluids, giant squids add to the entity the size, intelligence, maneuverability, reach, and flexibility, while giant isopods offer protection of the hard shells and further survival skills, adaptability and genetic mutations. Due to continuous radiation (from under water nuclear tests) and chemical pollution (from deep sea drilling and such) combined with deep sea gigantism, the entity grows to a gigantic proportion called Leviathan, and its horror, capability and weaponry grow exponentially with its size as well.

Leviathan, similar to giant squids, captures its prey by using its two long feeding tentacles. These tentacles have many terrible suckers on the tips, on the ends. These are called clubs, and the tentacles are shot out to grab the prey, and then the tentacles contract, bring the prey into the arm crown, the crown of eight arms (four can be used to walk on stand and walk on land) where the prey is held, and chunks are bitten out of the prey by its beaks. Now the beaks, or jaws, encased in a huge muscular ball so they're extremely powerful and they're unbelievably strong and sharp. The beaks are made out of materials mutated and evolved from mouthpieces and shells of the former creatures involved, very terrifying!

This Leviathan will consume any sizable living organisms including sharks, whales and of course humans, except that each human is like a tiny peanut, so it needs to catch them in a great number each time to get a mouthful. It will catch and consume humans nonetheless if other larger animals are not around when it is hungry, and it seems to be truly insatiable in its appetite!

Leviathan can blast an extremely potent and acidic liquid which can blind its opponent and cause a great deal of damage. It can use the blast to hunt, or escape if it chooses, not that Leviathan, in its size and aggressiveness, would be afraid of anything! If so choosing, Leviathan can also jet-propel itself so that it can jump or rocket to great distances, similar to how squids swim under water, either to knock the opponent over to demobilize them. A scene where it propels itself to knock Godzilla on his back, along with falling buildings and carnage, will be awesome!

Also, Leviathan can roll itself into a giant ball of indestructible hard shell as a defense mechanism or a weapon of attack. Devastating!

This monster is truly horrifying! It eats everything in its path and is constantly eating, radioactive or not, truly an ultimate omnivore and hunter and escape artist, driven by its mutated survival instinct! Extremely aggressive, powerful, fast, crafty, and intelligent, its body has the armor mutated from the giant isopod for protection, virtually indestructible, being able to withstand Godzilla’s atomic breath. Even though it prefers to be in the ocean because it is most powerful under water, it will go on-land to hunt and feed as well if the food source under the ocean becomes scarce, since squid and isopod, both genes Leviathan possesses, can walk on land and stay out of water. With this monster under the ocean, nothing is safe! Nuclear submarines and even nuclear aircraft carriers will go missing! Godzilla could be in trouble if he happened to encounter Leviathan in the ocean. Who is the alpha predator now!?

A monstrous animal that size with all its insatiable appetite will try to track all other animals to capture a good meal, and no meal is ever too big for Leviathan (maybe only too small)! If it could kill Godzilla, it would try to eat it, just like in nature, a leopard can hunt down a much larger prey. Godzilla has a natural enemy now, who dares to view him as prey!

Godzilla will have his hands full fighting Leviathan! King Ghidorah as well, if he is unlucky enough to encounter Leviathan first in the water. Oh no!

Size and Weight of Leviathan: 140 meters tall standing up on its other arms, with the reach of two long feeding tentacles of up to 190 meters, and weighing 110,000 tons. It will be heavier after a big meal and also growing of course! Its bones are not as dense and heavy as Godzilla’s for flexibility and buoyancy in the water because it is a deep sea monster.

The fourth type of monsters ought to be MUTO!  A number of them!  Here is my idea:

These are pack hunters in a group. This can be a group of three or four MUTO. Since MUTO were created for the first film quite successfully, very scary and formidable opponents of Godzilla, so why not use them for the second (or third) film as well. This will ensure the continuity from the first film. Also, if all monsters involved in the film are just loners, it can be boring to some viewers after a while. It is interesting to see how these MUTO communicate and tag team with each other again in fights against the other giant monsters to give varieties and new excitement to the viewers. I can imagine the audience will go: “YES! YES!” in these varieties of truly spectacular fights! I will use four MUTO here – three males and one females.

Following the first film, the San Francisco area has been quarantined since the last battle of these radioactive monsters has spread a very large amount of harmful radiation in the area. Imagine two giant busted nuclear reactors! Imagine Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster or Chernobyl disaster times five! Even though a certain clean-up has been performed afterward, but the clean-up for the size and scale of the two huge deceased MUTO bodies is not a simple matter, and human errors are bound to happen when the crews are working around the clock in the futile attempt to try to stay on the insane schedule, with them facing dangers of long exposure to harmful radiation. Long and behold, these two rotten MUTO bodies have leaked massive amount of radioactive materials everywhere, including where the MUTO eggs, which survive the previous explosion and fire, hatch into three males and one females. Rapidly these hatchlings feed and grow in the ideal radioactive breeding/feeding ground, silently and undetected at first. When they are fast becoming juveniles, their hormones kick in, and they start their communication and mating calls via EMP (Electro-Magnetic Pulses). We all know from the first movie that the female MUTO is much larger and dominant than the male MUTO, so here she can mate with all male MUTO, and have them working for her easily, such as bringing her food and other duties and favors and such; she is the boss in the relationship, at a higher social hierarchy within their pack MUTO community, just like pack animals with their social order.

By the time these calls are detected and noticed, it is too late, and it is just like the MUTO in the first movie all over again (OH MY GOD!), but except this time, we will have four of these bastards! Imagine these MUTO will stop at nothing to fight for what’s theirs!

Size and weight of juvenile MUTO: Males are 40 meters tall and weighing 25,000 tons. Female MUTO is 120 meters tall and weighing 100,000 tons. They will grow bigger fast as they grow older.
