MemberNoobOct-16-2013 9:08 PMMost recourses say or may have been said Guillermo Del Toro suggests that Dr.Newt Geizler (Charlie Day) will be the next villain in the upcoming sequel in 2016. If this is all right Newt had a somewhat a mind of a kaiju after drifting with two others in Pacific Rim, which supposedly newt reopens the breach releasing the kaiju once again. what do all of you think about the sequel's supposed storyline?

Community ExecutiveMemberNoobOct-17-2013 12:35 AMIt could be that the doctor Newton Geiszler, will turn into an antagonist, A bad experiment is frequently the cause of a future villain. And Newt with all his charisma, has managed to make a mess with the drift. And since exist a colective thought , also could be , maybe he will suc***b by the collective desire of the kaiju and he will try to bring them back.. again ^^

MemberNoobOct-17-2013 11:11 AMI was just thinking of this. He and Hermann both have bad nightmares after what they did. Hints of the Breach returning begin with them first.
He also has some trauma from his first Drift so the kaiju could influence him.

MemberNoobOct-19-2013 7:07 PMIt was said to be a possibility before the first movie released, but due to the fan support Newt has received, it's doubtful this would happen. It was in an article on io9 a few months ago.

MemberNoobDec-27-2013 12:51 PMI do not think that he will "reopen" the breach, as that planet was destroyed. I think that Newton will likely "recreate" the kaiju, sort of like Frankenstein
