Godzilla-Pacific Rim Crossover?

It's really hard to pick ANYONE besides Godzilla in a fight. That being said, I don't see them crossing paths in any official capacity.

Yeah as mutch as i love PACIFIC RIM the jaegers and kaiju against godzilla that would just be tragic,slattern might stand a chance against the big G but GODZILLA would stomp the jaegers like they where meer GUNPLA(gundam models) sad but true.

IMO not really a good idea. I mean for one how would you blend the 90s G-Force with the 2013 PPDC?

It's not impossible. I could see a really Toho classic story coming out of that. Godzilla wrecks some ****, we fight him for a while, we find something like Godzilla got displaced by a Kaiju wave, then ensues epic friendly fight with Godzilla against Kaiju. Just gotta find a realistic excuse for why Godzilla won't just smash 3 Jaegers in the process.

While it would be interesting just as a Battlestar Galatica vs. the U.S.S. Enterprise battle would be in theory, lets just keep it Jaegers against Kaiju please! :) Lynx Foxtrot out

Well Godzilla is technically a Kaiju. That being said, if Matthew Broderick could kill Godzilla, why can't a jaeger?

But it is my understanding that Godzilla was the creation of atomic testing it the South Pacific and didn't come from an alien induced intra-dimensional breach on the floor of the Pacific Ocean. :) Besides, the REAL Godzilla starred Raymond Burr! Wasn't it [SAD] to see Godzilla running from helicopters in Centropolis's remake of Godzilla. Years after seeing that film, I am still hurting inside! Godzilla runs from NOTHING! Well of course Godzilla has a different background story, but it's technically a kaiju in the "huge monster" sense. Because that's what the word basically means, and it's also the genre Godzilla helped define.

Hello i think that the universe of GODZILLA is really different for PACIFIC RIM. I'd like a crossover but GODZILLA would be a CAT 8 XD I can say that PACIFIC RIM will be like MARVEL MOVIES And Edward's GODZILLA will be NOLAN batman Trilogy MOVIES But if you want something between GODZILLA and PACIFIC RIM, i did a little tribute to Heisei saga with Pacific rim main theme. So going off of that, Gypsy would be at least 30 meters taller than Godzilla. And remember, Gypsy and Striker were built for the Cat 3 / Cat 4 Kaiju. That would indicate, that Gojira would be a strong Cat 2 or weak Cat 3. Gojia has the following attacks: Bite Tail whip Breath weapon Kick Gypsy has the following attacks: Chest Plasma weapon 2 x Sword 2 x Plasma Cannons Rocket Elbow punch Kick Punch Gojira is out classed in armament. What Gojira has that Gypsy doesn't is that as Gojira takes damage, it can heal, retreat-rest, and recover. As Gypsy depletes energy, it takes time to recover, and if Gypsy takes damage, that damage will only be repaired once the fight is over and its back in its hanger bay for repairs. Slattern took dual blades to the arm puts, severely crippling the forearms, a nuke to the face when Striker Eureka detonated her bomb, and finally a nuclear plasma blast through the chest ... WOW! Slattern would run circles around Gojira. No from what I have found and also being a Gojira loyalist, the facts have made me a Gypsy realist ... Gypsy Danger vs. Gojira or Slattern vs. Gojira would result in one very dead Gojira. What is also cool about the Pacific Rim universe is that ALL the Jaegers and Kaiju can come back in future movies! Why? Well Jaegers have blue prints and just be re-manufactured (although their crews are dead and gone once defeated) while the Kaiju are genetic clones, so being a clone, Otachi can and most likely be brought back in future spin-off films. I am afraid that Toho studios and America studios have let Gojira die off and not kept her fresh and up to date. Okay, 1, Gozilla isn't just called that for nothing. He has super atomic breath, is super huge, and has more fighting experience than anything else. Also, nothing can kill Godzilla. What died was Zilla (I call it DinoZilla). Zilla was the weakest and worst Godzilla imposter ever to be on the big screen. Nuclear bombs can even hurt Godzilla. It fights alien monsters and things bigger than all the time. Also, Godzilla defines a Kaju. There is nothing more Kaju than Godzilla, and really, Godzilla would be somewhere around a cat 80-6000. There is no man made weapons,that can kill him. No monster either. Basically, he is the god of destruction. There is no better way to describe him. (Also, stop using Zilla as a comparison. Zilla is weak, the real Godzilla would crush Zilla like nothing)

Godzilla of any type can be killed with a thermonuclear warhead. The reason that is given in the last 60 years of Godzilla not having a warhead used against her is that Japan has banned atomic weapons on its soil, and the fact that the explosion and resulting long term radiation (some cancerous isotopes have half-life in the 1000s, 10,000s of years) prevents a nuke being used on Godzilla. Godzilla's flesh and bone no matter how sycophant a fan you are of Godzilla, STILL obey the laws of physics; energy-matter conversion. Launch a MX (Peacekeeper) or Russian SS-18 against Godzilla, in a fire hotter than the surface of the sun (our sun has a surface temp of 5,000K, the core of the sun has a temp in the MILLIONS OF DEGREES), in a fire equal to the core of the sun and Godzilla of any form [WILL BE GONE]. See I used to be a godzilla-anything-fan. Centropolis Gojira was a joke. Biollante (sp?) was not good at all. Toho studios the owners of the rights to Godzilla have no plans to make anything Godzilla due to the very poor performance of their movies over the last 20 years. Godzilla is very stale, very stale. The entire Godzilla universe has been allowed to decay and is now a caricature of its former self. Please actually READ the links I have provided in my post about the sizes of Godzilla from the 'official' Godzilla sites. Godzilla in her best form would only come out at a high Category 3 at best, and if nukes were used, she would be dead within nanoseconds of detonation of the warhead. Your last statement about 'this zilla vs. that zilla', points out the ambiguity of the Godzilla universe and its monsters. [Will the real Godzilla please stand up]?! In 2013, the greatest monsters to have ever walked the Earth's surface in the imagination of sci-fi fans have been the Jaegers and the Kaiju they fight. The only thing Godzilla can do now in the film next year or future films, is to make Godzilla twice the size of Gypsy danger or have multiple Godzillas at once. Oh there are physical limitations to the size of animals. At some point, the carbon molecules that make up flesh, tendons, muscle, and blood itself break down do to the strain and pressure brought on by size and mass. I know for a fact that i am not a very knowledgeable person, but if you really know how things grow you know that certain requirements have to be met such as food,water and cell division so Godzilla could grow and i know some of you might disagree with me, but Godzilla does meet these requirements and then some so in theory Godzilla has room to grow and maybe even in some way evolve to handle the weight that comes with the growth or under go so form of metamorphosis because there is a higher possibility of this and one metamorphosis to meet needs such as rivalry with other creatures.

@Lynx How is it that you can apply real world physics to Godzilla to devalue HIM (not her) and not apply them to the PR universe as well. Either you apply them to both universes and destroy the fantasy or you apply them to neither world and let their respective lore decide the outcome. If you stop being a Scrooge McFantasykiller and use the information given to us by their stories you will see that Godzilla (Heisei and Final Wars 100m/328ft tall) would rip through the entire PR lineup in about 2 minutes. Most of the PR lineup only comes up to G's shoulder, the primary exception being Slattern who is 596ft. Even though G's size alone places him at about a cat 4, his durability, regenerative powers, close combat abilities and atomic breath put him several orders of magnitude beyond the PR lineup. Don't bother bringing up any real world physics because they have no place in a forum like this, and just understand that I know every single reason why Godzilla and similar entities could not truly exist. Any argument you have will fail as miserably as conventional weaponry against Godzilla's hide because you are outclassed in the same way that he outclasses the PR lineup.
