Pacific Rim 2 CONFIRMED

That article takes information from an interview with Guillermo from July 11th...so unfortunately this information is not a green flag for a sequel quite yet.

This review only tells them that they need to write a script first. Warner Bros. just said to Guillermo that if he wants his passion project to stay alive, go write a killer sequel that will get more audiences members in the door and that is kind of what happened with Hellboy. It grew a cult following and got a sequel and if this can do the same then they will probably green light a sequel.

Long live the Pacific Rim fandom! Let's get this sequel made! Show Hollywood how a "big dumb action movie" [i]should[/i] look!
