First the request, I Absolutely cannot WAIT for Pacific rim and I also cannot wait to read the Graphic novel, but I have not gotten to read it yet so can we keep this spoiler free from the Novel please? That would be awesome.
So, I am coming into this movie a Kaiju/monster movie fan and REALLY like the design and idea of the Kaiju in this movie so like everyone I have a question or two.
First off, does anyone know if the Kaiju are all stand alone organisms, unique in and of themselves? Or is Otachi and LeatherBack a species rather than a single Kaiju?
Second, do we know if they are sentient yet?

They are to a degree depending on each category. Cat 1 isn't as smart as a cat 5.
