This may be old news to some, but my guess on the pilot(s?) of Tango would be Stacker Pentecost and Tasmin Sevier. Stacker and Tasmin are confirmed as the ones who saved Mako, and the kaiju corpse shown in the novel looked blasted, a pile of ash as opposed to a pile of crab meat if a non-cannon jaegar had taken it down. The back of the jaegar Stacker was driving seems to also fit with what we have seen of Tango, and Tango itself appears to have been teased (and would be the only logical choice) for the Japan based jaegar.
Now, here's the hook: Tango only has one pilot seat, thus possibly making a continuity error, as Stacker and Tasmin were the bonded pair. However, as Tasmin died of cancer, and Stacker was noted to have been able to complete their battle even after she blacked out, his being part of the Jaegar program from the start, and his incredible willpower, I personally could see Stacker single-handedly piloting Tango during some of the climactic battles.
Thoughts?

MemberNoobJun-25-2013 11:20 AMActually, you're absolutely right. Stacker and Tamsin saved Mako while piloting Coyote Tango. What we know of Tango fits as well: it was made the USA, but stationed in Japan. The recent screencaps also show Tango in Mako's Drift sequence where she is saved by it. As for Stacker piloting Tango during the course of the movie (in present day)? Extremely doubtful. If anything, he steps into Striker Eureka for the finale as seen in the trailers.
