MemberNoobJun-06-2013 7:16 PMI wonder when the movie's soundtrack will be out?
I'm also curious on the type of music, besides the obvious Russian rap we may hear. Will we hear anything resembling Akira Ifukube's Godzilla scores? For example Ifukube's Godzilla attacks Nagoya. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3xOawMH4m-U
I like when the violins start up at 0:36. :) You just feel the power of the music and what the scene must be showing of Godzilla wrecking everything in his way. A kaiju film deserves music like this. I hope Pacific rim's score is similar with epic scale to fit what we see in the trailers.

AdminLegendJun-18-2013 1:05 PMThe composer for Pacific Rim is Ramin Djawadi. He did Iron Man, Clash of the Titans and is most popular for Game of Thrones. Here's some links to some of his work from those three:

And here's probably his most powerful piece from Game of Thrones:

This should at least give you a small taste for what you're in for. Tom Morello also did the guitar work for Iron Man and he's back with Djawadi for Pacific Rim. I imagine there will be some similarities between it and Iron Man.
