The Kaiju were sent by a more intelligent race from another dimension that want our planet.

Okay i will rephrase this ? What could the intelligent race that sends the kaiju want with our planet. The intelligent race would have mastered inter dimensional travel and because they "created" kaiju much like weve created jargers im suggesting they are far advanced enough to create bio-life as opposed to metal jaegers so again I ask what is just a speculative reason for invasion i dont even care if its in the storyline yet i just want to understand the rationale of this mysterious nameless advanced race of inter dimensional beings.....there really isnt a rationale explanation ....

Maybe they simply want the planet and are sending these monsters in to clear everyone out? Easier to send the henchmen in to do the dirty work, I suppose.

Fun would imply that the intelligent race is somehow monitoring the humans. Is this the case? Are the intelligent race able to "see through the eyes of the Kaiju" Idk...How else can they monitor whats occurring in a different dimension?

It would be funny if there were Grey alien pilots in the Kaiju heads.... I dunno...maybe the aliens aren't more advanced then humans. Maybe they are just taking advantage of naturally occuring dimensional rifts to expand. Maybe their technology isn't better but just DIFFERENT. They use Kaiju where we use Jaegers. As to why they are doing this? I imagine they are just viciously expansionist, like army ants, and can't tolerate competitor species. So they are softening up the humans with attacks on major population centers. Or maybe there reasons are simply to alien to fathom, like a Lovecraft being, but its what they do and we have to deal with it.

Well what about our resources? Most alien invasions have this theme that we are in the way and they want our planet's resources. Some scientists think any alien invasion would entail them think of us as pests and not worth their time. They see Earth as some new place to exploit and rape materials from and then move on. They use the kaiju like we see in the old Godzilla films of the 70s. They use mind control on the kaiju and control them to do their bidding. It makes me wonder if the kaiju aren't all that vicious when not controlled. For example Titanosaurus is said to be gentle and docile when he isn't being controlled by Dr. Mifune or the Black Hole apes. I'd guess they saw our old entertainment and decided to make kaiju since in our world we only see it in fiction only, not real life. So when it does happen, everyone goes into mass panic.

@ thedude thanks for the post Thats kinda my point.....if it is our resources that is gonna be lame.... So when it does happen, everyone goes into mass panic. Kinda funny at first but also pretty cool!!! I hope the real script is even half as sci-fi as that
