Should I See Pacific Rim In IMAX 3D?

The real question here is, why would you NOT see it in IMAX? Haha, Of course you should see it in IMAX 3D - for the best possible audio and visual experience! Not to sound corny, but it's true. I've seen the same movie in IMAX vs. conventional theaters and I am always more impressed with the IMAX experience. They tend to be louder, and generally bigger screens. So - for a film packed with GIANT monsters and mech warriors - bigger is better. Not to mention, the film's tagline of "GO BIG OR GO EXTINCT" really further insinuates this. So yeah, I think you should go see it in IMAX 3D.

After having seen many movies in IMAX versions only, I can tell you this: once you experience the big bang in this theater, you never go back putting the bucks for small ones again

I say go for it! I can't think of a reason of why you shouldn't.

I actually have a theatre 1 mile from me that will have it playing in 3D with DBox motion seats....now that will be the best way to see it. If you don't know what D Box seats are, they are seats that are programmed to move accordingly to what's going on during the movie, they move up down left right forward back and shake. Trust me it will truly make this larger than life film a real experience,I suggest looking up which theaters around you have some D Box motion seats available. IMO better than IMAX.

hehe why not? I would see it on Imax (digital one since this february) if I had one close to me. But it is lil bit far... our national cinemas are really good bigger than cinemax X D and with similar features, but also I have the option of the [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99Fb9WfDYlI]D box[/url].... I think I would join the Imax instead the D box. or.. if the movie rocks.. go for both! ^^ I will try the X D cinemark with Man of steal, then I will choose between theaters.
