A Private firm is hoping to send people to the moon for $1bn (£900m) for a two person trip. Planning to make it a commodity in 2020 - Mr Stern who is hoping to make it a reality and plans to launch a trip before this decade is through followed by 15 to 20 launches in total. Sometime in the future this will hopefully become commonplace and much more affordable, if you were one of the brave few to venture out - what tracks would you take with you? I think, if I were lucky enough to get to be in that very special circumstance, I would be happy to listen to the sound of silence and just take it all in making a mental soundtrack of my own as I travel there. :)

The band that always looked to futuristic worlds was Electric Light Orchestra. Absolutely loved that group. Ticket to the Moon This song I would be playing as I take off, and during the trip to the moon. Once on the moon I would take out my golf clubs and I would play REM's Man On the Moon. And I would be laughing, because I believe that we can put a man/woman on the moon. THanks for mentioning Steve Hillage. I am not familiar with name or music but a wiki article concered much of his musical history. There were many names I did recognize. Steve seems to be one of those musician's musician that your music scene knows. I'll soon play some his music. Always like to hear great music.

Journey - Separate Ways (Worlds apart) We play this song everytime we go to the casino. The results are mixed but we all have a great time singing this song.
