What will happen to David's head?

I think he will be repaired by Shaw or fix himself somehow. Maybe she took tools from the lifeboat? It just wouldn't make any sense Shaw carrying just his head around throughout the entire film! Plus, they would have to use alot of cgi to remove Fassbenders body, which i really can't see Ridley doing. She must of taken his body with them for some reason.

What necronom 4 said ;) They are casting both actors again and they will play a pivotal part of the movie. I predict that as the Last Engineer did the Elders would be intrigued with Shaw, as the only Human (maybe) they would not see her as any threat and may enlighten her and give her answers. On the other hand, Davids Master has gone he is now free he sees himself as superior and his comment about the Engineers (Mortal after all) may see himself as even more superior to the Elders and knows with their secrets he could become the King and Godlike. I expect Shaw and Engineers to actually get along.... only for David to somehow get up to no good and cause Chaos and thus David will be the antagonist. i would also not put it past Prometheus 3 to be the Prequel to Prometheus. And finally find out what went down on LV 223, when/why it was created and the fall of the outpost and reason for the Urns and their creation. Ridley said Prometheus 2 will go further from Alien but by the end of the Prometheus franchise the dots would be connected to Alien so i feel at the end of the Trilogy we would get all the answers not just about the Xeno and Alien but also the questions left by Prometheus and Prometheus 2 Paradise.

I'm sure the life-pod has tools on it that they will have taken with them so Shaw can repair him. Or David has enough knowledge of the Juggernaut to know that it has some tech she can repair him with. Perhaps he says "Mix me with the goo, Shaw!" and voila, xenomorph lol. If you ask me his only reason for telling her there were other ships is because he knew that there were the tools and that he could instruct Shaw on how to fix him. He wanted to be repaired and to leave. Otherwise he would have just let her rot. I found it funny that Shaw apologized for having to put his head in a bag and zip it up after all he had done to her lol.

really intrigued by the BBFC-classified FIVE MINUTES called Paradise, on the Extras list. could it be the five minutes where David is repaired before setting off - does he 'put Shaw to sleep' LITERALLY i.e. kill her with cryo, before he sets off for Pastures New, on his own?

Hopefully, it gets dropped down a toilet on the ship they take and flushed into the nearest black hole. It's the only way to be sure ;-)

He will probably be fixed becuase if you remember, shaw first takes davids body down the juggernaut with a rope, then she packs his head in the bag. Just saw it again the other week and noticed this.

Hmmm shaw has no skills in making robots and david is like the most advanced robot in that universe - probably took the best geniuses of that time and shaw is not the most clever of people even tough she looked like an Einstein to the rest of the crew thanks to lindelof :D . I guess maybe david can repair himself but with shaws help - would be tricky though as all shes got is the alien ship no? OR maybe they salvaged some stuff from the pods - get his arms working first :P ...

David will repair himself. All Shaw has to do is reunite the head with the body, and David will do the rest. The first shot we see of David may be him putting the finishing touches on his own repairs, while thanking Shaw for helping him, making it unnecessary for them to take the time to show us all the details. And as soon as his head his back on, things can get going. Be prepared for a glitch in the repairs that may happen at the worst possible moment. Nothing like being unsure he's going to function perfectly.

I pick F) things recur in different ways. A second David was secretly on board the Prometheus the whole time and now the second juggernaut the whole time. He really didn't need Shaw to get home, he needed her for his plans. David's become omnipresent and reborn after his creators death. The second David immediately freezes Shaw after attacking her from out of what seems like nowhere (except for being somewhat explained by an extended cut).

The Talking Head David,,,shows a some remnents from his body containing a flashing red light everytime he speaks,, It must be a power source of some kind,,but with David alert why would there even need to be any kind of light? Since it some relative distance from David's head perhaps this is the cord that Vickers mentioned in the scene,,when she says to David,,'I'll cut the cord..."
