MemberNoobSep-25-2012 2:02 AMI've seen these before but I thought it would be cool to post some of them.I'll include the link to the page I found them on.
From what I can gather these were taken at a Museum in San Francisco in 2009.I don't know if its a replica or the real drive-able Spinner that was created for the movie. My moneys on the real film used car cause there's just too much detail on it.Not that I know the car like the back of my hand or anything. But I've come realize that some Blade Runner fans know the Spinner very well.Maybe a Spinner enthusiast could clear up if its the real Ma-coy.
I don't know if its still hanging in San Francisco...maybe we have some California west-coasters that could give some insight..or someone who's been to see this in person.

MemberNoobSep-29-2012 4:06 PMThanks for the heads-up sakkal.I'll be sure to check the library out.I just checked out your link and its definitely worth a look. .I'm on my change over day(start night shifts).
NCC 1701,LOL,no problem if I had a bigger window of time.We could hit every Sci-Fi locale along the way, including Vulcan,AB :)
Just finished booking my flight down to Seattle.I leave the week after next.I even phoned the EMP to make sure the Spinner was still there. The girl I was talking too knew exactly what I was referring too.She was very friendly and told me that the Spinner still in the lobby and they have a science fiction exhibit with...original film used DALEKS(cue orchestra startled music "DumDaa") and Star Trek, including Captain Kirk's chair from TOS(DumDaDaaa").
I also secured my museum ticket online. If anyone needs some specific photos of anything just let me know. The museum is camera friendly, just no flash(unless nobody is around...giggle) Gonna go stare at Jimmy Hendrix's leather jacket too :)

MemberNoobSep-25-2012 4:19 PMI live in San Francisco. I'm not familiar with any museum here that's had the spinner. However, I saw it again this past July at the EMP in Seattle, WA. It hangs in the main entry hall above ticketing.

BTW, the "Icons of SciFi" exhibit that's on there now at the EMP is really worth seeing. I know the curator. He's really good at what he does.
The spinner is not in the "icons" show. It's part of the permanent collection and always there in the lobby. I'm not sure that's the best way to display it, but it's there in all its glory nonetheless. Its lights are usually not turned on, however, to the best of my knowledge.

MemberNoobSep-25-2012 10:08 PM@ Lone. The Spinner would be the ultimate collectors piece. It would take up my entire living room.I'd have to sit in it to watch T.V but I wouldn't mind(LOL).
@ sukkal.Thankyou for the update & info.Seattle isn't too far away for me.I see a trip to Washington State in my near future :)

Seattle is a wonderful city. I couldn't live there due to the weather, but other than that, it's great. If you go, make sure to visit the public library too. It's free. And amazing!

MemberNoobOct-01-2012 10:36 PMThat is so cool. Move over General Lee, move over Delorean, make room for the Spinner.... I have to agree with you djrees56, if I had a Spinner it would definitely go in the tv room and I would have to sit in it to watch Blade Runner.
