The Main Antagonist.

I have the same assumption, the way it's being focused on in the trailer, does seem to give off that sense that he's the main antagonist. However, in the WonderCon footage, we saw a flying Kaiju (which seems to get decapitated though), which was never mentioned prior to, so who knows how many other Kaiju are in the film, just not featured yet. There could be something even bigger.

GDT said in a recent interview that there were 9 Kaiju. I'm hoping this is true, and they're keeping the best ones under wraps!

I'm thinking that big, baboon looking one that bushwacks Cherno Alpha is 'Goblin', sort of the main bad guy.

I thought it was nicknamed 'Leatherback' and assumed Goblin was the shark looking one...? I hope there's a second 'official' trailer on its way soon!

Hmm....I honestly don't know since I'm trying to recall a hazily remembered interview.

Well there should be enough plot development for the Main Antagonist right? I mean, you can't just introduce him at the final act of the film, like Venom in Spider-Man 3.
