MemberNoobApr-29-2013 8:46 PMI'm not sure if this is true or not, but I think I saw Rodan in the Pacific Rim Wonder-Con trailer. Don't believe me, look at this.

See how similar the wings look when Rodan picks up Gipsy Danger? Could it be Rodan making a cameo? It was only a short second so I might be wrong.

MemberNoobApr-29-2013 10:47 PMI highly doubt that it is actually Rodan. I think it is a creature that resembles Rodan quite a bit. Pretty sure Toho, or whomever holds Rodan's rights wouldn't let del Torro use him in a movie, especially with the new Godzilla movie due in 2014. Because if the new Godzilla hits it big, then we will probably see a new run on the Japanese Kaiju movies, and Rodan would be a prime choice to have a big time solo movie.

MemberNoobApr-30-2013 12:37 PMA lot of the Kaiju are probably going to look familiar to long time monster fans anyway. Del Torro did say the movie is a way to celebrate all those old monster films.
Hell...the beast that crawls up the Kaiju wall and gets batted in the head at the end? It looks a lot like the Cloverfield monster.

MemberNoobMay-08-2013 10:42 PMLooking at several pictures and watching the trailer a few times I think that isn't rodan it looks like it has a long tail and tow horn things on its head but it does fly.
