We, at Scified, are aware that fans of Avatar are eagerly waiting to take a trip back to the wonderful planet of Pandora; as news reports began surfacing few months ago, Mr. Cameron is planning to shoot 'Avatar' sequels back to back.
We are also planning to launch a fully established website dedicated to the sequels. More information on that will be coming soon. Though, for now, everything related to the business of Avatar films, this blog will be on top of that.
Sam Worthington has revealed that production on the upcoming Avatar sequels is set to begin in 2014. The films themselves are expected to come out between December 2016 and December 2018. According to Worthington, shooting for subsequent movies in the franchise will be completed within a year of each new movie's yearly release.
