"Blade Runner 2049"
The original Blade Runner was set in 2019, so this title reveals that the sequel will take place thirty years after the original. Harrison Ford will return in his role as Rick Deckard. It is unknown how the film will answer the question of whether or not Rick Deckard is a Replicant, although it was confirmed by Ridley Scott in 2014.
As further details have yet to be released, any guess about the plot is still merely speculation. However, the plot being set thirty years since the previous one may imply new models of replicants as technology advanced. Please let us know in the comments section what you think of the new title!
The plot of Blade Runner 2 is currently under a tight lid of secrecy, although it is known that the movie will be set several decades after the original.
