Stranger Things Season 5 Episode 7 suffers big drop in ratings ahead of the series finale!

Stranger Things is about to reach its ultimate conclusion in a few days and the set-up episode for the climactic finale hit the franchise record hard, with a sharp drop in ratings and viewer sentiment. The series has maintained a relatively strong rating throughout its 5 season run, with the only other faulty episode having been Season 2, Episode 7 – The Lost Sister. Season 5's Episode 7 – The Bridge ironically has followed suit, with fans criticizing the episode's writing and pacing. Most take issue with the fact some scenes seem to drag on forever, incoherent decisions made by the show's characters and poor timing for unnecessary monologues while the world is nearly ending and children are suffering in Dimension X. Others have complained that Millie Bobby Brown's demeanor has shifted significantly from previous seasons, giving off an indifferent attitude to her role as Eleven.

While these sentiments are purely subjective and unique to each viewer, it has caused the show to suffer a big blow in ratings across the board and its triggered a tidal wave of satirical memes to flood the internet. This may or may not affect turnout for the season's cinema-bound finale.
