We've known for a while that Rogue One would be more of a war movie than the typical space opera fare that we've come to expect of the series, and the official Russian poster conveys this brilliantly. While there haven't yet been any hand-painted Drew Struzan posters for the film, this is still possibly the most powerful piece of Rogue One marketing released thus far.
It was showcased at a Comic-Con event in Russia, and while we probably won't be seeing it used to promote the film internationally, it still makes us all the more excited for when Rogue One hits our screens on December 16, 2016.
