Scified is back with another weekly kaiju recap article. This week delivered a plethora of kaiju related news. From more Mondo products, to two new King Ghidorah figures, to even a new Ultraman series, this week gave fans plenty of announcements to look forward to. With that said, let's jump into this week's news-
First off for this week are some more new posters and t-shirts from Mondo. Most of the products are already sold out, but you can still view all of the new merchandise items here and here.



NECA announced that their new rerelease Godzilla 1985 and Godzilla 2001 Atomic Blast version figures would begin shipping out starting this week. Both of these figures feature updated box style packaging. Some locations have already had these figures in stock, but it appears that they should be available everywhere soon.


A new model for an upcoming Nezura 1964 figure has been revealed. The figure will be available as a reward to crowdfunding supporters of the film.

A new Bandai Movie Monster Series Godzilla Store Limited Edition King Ghidorah 2019 Heavy Paint Version figure has been revealed. The figure will be sold only at the official Godzilla Store in Japan starting on April 9th for approximately $32.

Tsuburaya announced their newest Ultra series titled Ultraman Z. The series will follow Ultraman Zero and his new pupil, Ultraman Zett. You can view the first poster for the series below and find out more information here.

Tamashii Nations will be rereleasing their S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla 1954 and 2002 figures. Both figures will become available in August, with 1954 costing $81.99 and 2002 $89.99.


Spiral Studios unveiled their breathtaking new Ultimate Masterline Premium Statue, DX-KGS002: King Ghidorah Deluxe Edition. The statue will feature LED light-up functions and will stand at an incredible 33" tall and 53" wide. You can find out more information here.




Lastly, images of cards from a possible new Godzilla X Magic The Gathering collab leaked online. The cards feature, Godzilla, Spacegodzilla, and King Caesar. Note that this collab is not yet confirmed and is just a well-supported rumor at this point. You can find out more information about the topic here.
