Introducing Giladio – a monstrous new Kaiju coming from Japan, created by renowned Tokusatsu filmmaker Yoshikazu Ishi! Yoshikazu has been involved in a number of classic and iconic Kaiju franchises, spanning the likes of Godzilla to Gamera and Ultraman! His upcoming monster movie is aiming for a 2026 release date and is being produced on an $11,000 USD budget by Yoshikazu's company Team Better Tomorrow. Giladio: The Giant Monster Plot Synopsis
One Sunday, Suzuki Reiichi and Morita Natsuko are on a typical date when they get involved in an accident and lose consciousness. When they wake up, they find themselves in a virtual world that appears to be an exact replica of the real world… Suddenly! A monster appears and goes on a rampage… putting the two in danger. Will they be able to defeat the monster and return to their real world, or will they never return?
As our friends at Kaiju United note, Yoshikazu previously acted as writer and director on Ultraman Ginga and lent his talents as special effects assistant director on Godzilla: Final Wars!
