There have been two elements of Transformers: The Last Knight that have been kept very quiet so far during the movie's marketing - the casting of Sir Anthony Hopkins and the introduction of Medieval Knights into the Transformers mythos. Considering the popularity of both of these elements it is a surprise that it has taken up until now for studio Paramount Pictures to capitalize on their popularity. What we get is, for the most part, the trailer we always wanted for this movie, images of Medieval Knights and a tantalizing voice over from one of the Uk's greatest character actors...
We do get a little snippet of the studios ill-advised "fight like a girl" trailer, and as has become the trend of movie trailers of late we have some more spoilerific footage giving a little too much of the plot away; this time confirming most people's assumptions that Optimus Prime returns to Earth brainwashed by his creators. But all in all, this is a much better trailer than the previous attempts and shows promise that like Twentieth Century Fox and even Disney, Hollywood studios are starting to listen more to the fans.
And for Alien fan's there is an easter egg, if you can spot it?
