Review Mothra vs. Godzilla film review by EmptyH

I just watched this movie last night and I can’t remember key points of the plot. All that matters, and all this movie cares about, is that things happen and Godzilla and Mothra fight each other.

The Good: The suits look good. The special effects are really good for the time.

 

The Bad: The plot. The human story and characters can’t carry anything and seriously drag down this movie.

Conclusion: Overall, this is a disappointment. Both Godzilla and Mothra had excellent first movies, so one would think putting them both in the same movie would mean big success. This movie proves that they were wrong. The human characters and non-existent plot drag this down. There is nothing earnest about this movie. I would actually suggest fans of both Godzilla and Mothra skip this movie and maybe watch each of their debut movies again.
