This is by far my favorite movie of all time! The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III were both good, but the original was great. It was the perfect combination of action, adventure, and even a little compassion(Alan Grant and Ellie Sattler/Hammond and his grand-kids). The dinosaurs were just about perfect. The Tyrannosaurus was just classic. The scene at the beginning with the Brachiosaurus has been rated the 28th most magical moment in movie history. Then, there are the raptors. Universal did exactly what they should have done. They waited until the very end to give you a good look at the Velociraptors. For most of the movie, it was up to your imagination to come up with a picture of them. And your imagination creates things that are often far more terrifying than the real thing. All in all, a must see. If I could give it a 6/5, I would. Jurassic Park is an instant classic. Tyrannosaurus rex may be the king of the dinosaurs, but Jurassic Park is the king of the movies!
