Official Plot Synopsis

During a mission to the newly discovered Planet X, World Space Agency astronauts Fuji and Glenn are shocked to discover intelligent life! The People of Planet X claim they have been forced into hiding by King Ghidorah and request help from the monsters that previously defeated it--Godzilla and Rodan. In return they promise to cure all disease on Earth. After the exchange, the People of Planet X reveal their agenda for planetary conquest, using Godzilla, Rodan and King Ghidorah to lay waste to Earth! As the great monster war rages on, Glenn, Fuji and a young inventor, Tetsuo, scheme to break the behemoths free of alien control.

Directed by Ishiro Honda, Invasion of Astro-Monster is a Toho movie based on a screenplay by Shinichi Sekizawa.
