The movie was great the story is very well told and Godzilla's new backstory is fresh while keeping true to the character. The plot is interesting and they build up the human characters so you actually care about them, the actors do a great job. The origin of the MUTOs is interesting as well and how they tie everything together is interesting.
The only complaint that I had with it was I would have liked to see more Godzilla and DEFINATELY would have liked more fight sequences. The final fight sequence was one of the coolest things I'd ever seen in a movie so it only makes sense that I'd want more of it. And it isn't unherad of for a Godzilla movie to focus on other characters/monsters for the majority of it and only using the big man in the climatic sequences (Godzilla vs Mecha-Godzilla for example) but they do such a GREAT job with his design that I wanted to see him so much more haha!
Ultimately this movie was incredible I've already seen it twice and it technically comes out today. I've been a huge Godzilla fan for as long as I have memories (probably around 1988-1989) and this is one of my favorite Godzilla movies almost instantly! Here's hoping it does well and Toho gives the more monsters to play with for future movies!!!
