On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this movie a solid 7. The movie isn't the best, but it has great concepts and a mediocre but solid story. Godzilla: King of the Monsters doesn't match the greatness of Kong: Skull Island, but that doesn't mean it's bad. The story (while mediocre) is ambitious, the family drama element is a great touch, the visual effects and cinematography are stunning, and the cast gives mostly solid performances in badly written characters, with Millie Bobby Brown (Stranger Things, Enola Holmes) and Ken Wantanabe (Inception, Godzilla 2014) standing out as probably the only star to get an actually good human character in the film. Godzilla, Mothra, Rodan, and Ghidorah get great designs, and some good (but reptitive) fights. Overall, it's a good movie if you are invested. If not, than I'm not sure what you'll think. But it does improve on the mistakes on Godzilla 2014, so yeah. It's good for a one-time watch, but it isn't the most rewatchable. So yeah that's all.
